Shibari (also known as Kinbaku) is the traditional Japanese art of rope bondage. It involves creating intricate, geometric patterns with natural fiber ropes on the human body. Beyond aesthetics, Shibari is a profound practice of connection, trust, meditation in motion, and emotional exploration. It is like a guidance from within Yulia - to realease all type of tension.
At Yushibari, we aim to honestly face yourself, emphasizing its artistic and mindful aspects — like a trip going deep inside yourself, to your “mother´s womb”.

Her work focuses on private sessions, workshops, and most all her deep emotionally theatrical performance - dramatic and playful - regularity moving audiences to tears. Check her about page for more.

Yes, when practiced responsibly. Safety is our top priority. All sessions and workshops include thorough education on anatomy, nerve awareness, circulation monitoring, proper rope handling, and emergency protocols (including quick release techniques). We strongly recommend starting with professional guidance and never practicing suspension without advanced training and proper equipment.
-
No experience is necessary for beginner sessions or workshops. We welcome complete beginners, couples, and those with some background. Our teaching adapts to your level, pace, and goals — whether you seek artistic expression, deeper connection, relaxation, or personal exploration.

Shibari is for everyone. It is not limited to any gender, body type, age (adults only), or relationship status. Solo practice (self-tying), couples, and individual sessions are all welcome. Flexibility and fitness help in advanced ties, but beginner patterns are accessible to most people. The focus is on presence, sensation, and connection rather than perfection.

Private sessions are tailored to your intentions — whether meditative, artistic, sensual, or therapeutic in nature. We begin with a conversation to understand your desires, boundaries, and any concerns. The experience emphasizes trust, clear communication, and aftercare. Sessions are held in a comfortable, private, and respectful environment.

Shibari originates from Japanese rope traditions and can be practiced in many ways — artistic, meditative, erotic, or power-exchange focused. While it overlaps with BDSM for some people, it is not inherently BDSM. At Yushibari, we honor all approaches with consent and respect at the core.
-
Consent is ongoing and enthusiastic. We use clear negotiation, safewords, and regular check-ins. All participants are encouraged to communicate openly. We teach risk-aware practices, including monitoring for numbness, tingling, or discomfort, and knowing when to stop or adjust immediately.

You can wear soft, natural clothes that you feel comfortable in.

It can be moments, longer or not at all. This depends on your body capacity and experience with Sibari. We make sure your well and our standard safety procedures are always in place. That means you can immediately stop or pause your session at any time.
-
Yes. We regularly organize beginner-friendly workshops in Mallorca, Ibiza and in select locations. These cover foundations: safety, communication, basic knots and ties, anatomy, and simple harnesses. Advanced workshops are available for those ready to progress.
-
We use high-quality natural fiber ropes (primarily jute or hemp), which are traditional for Shibari. These provide the right texture, grip, and aesthetics while being safer for the skin than synthetic materials. Ropes are properly conditioned and maintained for comfort and performance.
